A Decade of Excellence

Bethany School (CBSE), Kinnikambla celebrated its 10-years milestone on 19th December, 2024 at 5 pm in the school grounds, graced by the esteemed dignitaries including, President Rev. Sr. Dr. Lilly Pereira BS, Provincial Superior and Corporate Manager, Mangalore Province, and Chief Guest Rev. Fr. Rudolph Ravi D’sa, Parish Priest, Our Lady of Pompei Church, Gurpur. Other notable guests included Mr. Abdul Latheef Gurupura, Founder of ANI Charitable Trust and Chairman of ANI Trading Company, Mr. Guruprasad A B, Assistant Director of Town Planning, Mangalore City Corporation, Mr. Jerald Lancy Pinto, Ex-Subedar, Indian Army, Sr. Leena Pereira, Superior, Rosa Mystica Convent, Sr. Roselyta BS, Correspondent, Bethany School (CBSE), Kinnikambla, Sr. Anitha Tressy, The Principal, Bethany School (CBSE), Kinnikambla, Mrs. Deekshitha Fernandes, PTA Vice-President, and Ms. Reeshal Anna Noronha, Vice President, Alumni.

 

The celebration commenced with the SPL leading the school band for the guests, followed by the prayer song, sung by the school choir, setting the tone for a spiritual and joyous evening. A beautiful welcome dance was performed by the students to warmly welcome the gathering. The school Principal, Sr. Anitha Tressy, formally welcomed the dignitaries and the audience, expressing her gratitude for their presence.

 

The inauguration ceremony featured the unveiling of the decennial logo, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the school’s journey. This was followed by the release of the “Year in Review” annual report, highlighting the school’s achievements and milestones over the past year.

The tiny tots from the KG section delighted the audience with the seasonal rhythms performance packed with song, action and dance, adding to the joy and festivity of the evening.

A felicitation ceremony was held to honor the selfless services of the Headmistresses, Correspondents and PTA Vice Presidents. The audience appreciated their dedication and commitment to the growth of the school.

The prize distribution ceremony recognized the outstanding achievements of students at the district, state, and national levels. The students were awarded trophies and certificates for their excellence in academics, sports and co-curricular activities.

The key attraction of the evening was the drama “Echoes of Tomorrow,” a thought-provoking presentation that emphasized the importance of restoring humanity and protecting the Mother Earth. Through a mesmerizing blend of dance, music and drama, the students conveyed a powerful message on the need for collective responsibility in preserving the planet for the future generations. The performance highlighted the consequences of human actions on the environment and urged the audience to adopt sustainable practices and strive for a better harmonious coexistence with nature.

The celebration was filled with joy, music, and nostalgia, as the school community came together to cherish a decade of memories and confidently foresee a future characterized by ongoing development and higher performance.
