Annual Sports day

Bethany School’s Sports Day was held on October 30, presided over by Sr. Roselyta, President, and graced by Chief Guest Sr. Leena Pereira, Superior, Rosa Mystica Convent, and Guest of Honor Nithesh Kumar Kajilakodi, Proprietor, CN Enterprises, Mangalore . Mrs. Deekshitha Fernandes, PTA Vice President, was also present on the dais .Principal Sr. Anitha Tressy delivered the welcome address, emphasizing the significance of sports in shaping students’ character. The event began with a majestic march past led by School SPL Elvina and the four squads – Red, Yellow, Blue, and Green – accompanied by the school band, followed by Nithesh Kumar receiving the salute. Naman Jogi brought in the sports light, and Shawn, the Sports Minister, led the oath-taking ceremony. Sr. Roselyta inaugurated the sports day by releasing a dove, symbolizing peace and unity, saying, “May this dove spread love, harmony, and sportsmanship among all participants.” Sr. Leena Pereira then hoisted the school flag, urging students to strive for excellence and uphold the school’s values. Various thrilling events ensued, including relay races, squad matches and individual track and field events, culminating in an exciting replay. The winners were awarded medals and certificates, with the Best Squad and Best Athlete awards presented. The successful event fostered teamwork, sportsmanship, and camaraderie among students.
