“Each One, Plant One”- VANAMAHOTSAVA

Bethany CBSE School celebrated Vanamahotsava on 9 July 2026 at 11:00 a.m. with great enthusiasm and a commitment to environmental conservation. The programme commenced with a prayer, followed by a warm welcome and an informative talk highlighting the significance of Vanamahotsava and the importance of protecting nature.

The celebration was graced by Sr. Wilma from Jeevandhara Social Service Centre, Kulshekar, along with Sr. Jacintha D’Souza (Principal), Sr. Reena Juliet (Vice Principal), Sr. Manisha, Sr. Reena, Ms. Roshni, and MSW students from St. Aloysius College.

A meaningful skit accompanied by a dance performance conveyed a powerful message on the importance of protecting trees and preserving the environment. As a symbolic gesture of promoting greenery, the Principal and students planted a sapling on the school campus. Sr. Wilma also distributed seeds to the students and encouraged them to plant and nurture them with care, inspiring them to become responsible stewards of the environment.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Sanchith, while Chethan of Grade 10 compered the event with confidence and enthusiasm. The Vanamahotsava celebration left everyone inspired to take an active role in protecting nature and creating a greener future.
